Senior Data Analyst (m/f/d) in Hamburg

We are currently looking for a Senior ** D ata Analyst (m/f/d)** to join our platform analytics team.

This position is available as a full-time role at our IU office locations or remotely (must reside in Germany or the UK).

• Be a core member of the Lecturing & Course Coordination team where you will be analysing vast staffing & recruiting demand data.
• You will identify relevant information for our business and communicate the generated insights including interpretation to various stakeholders. In doing so, you ensure that practical recommendations for action are derived from the data collected.
• You create automated reporting solutions - primarily working with SQL and visualizing your analyses in PowerBI.
• You maintain our existing reporting landscape and continuously develop it.
• You monitor the relevant KPIs of the department and you act as a sparring partner for our stakeholders.
• You handle these tasks as part of an agile remote team in a dynamic corporate environment.
• You mentor other analysts within the team in effectively utilizing Python for advanced data analysis.
• You utilize your expertise in advanced analytics to evolve the traditional reporting and analytics processes, thereby contributing significantly to the methodological growth of the business.

• Several years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics and Data Analytics.
• Advanced knowledge in Excel, SQL and Python/R programming with a keen interest for further development.
• Experience working with large datasets and Power BI.
• Strong business sense, analytical abilities, and a goal-oriented approach to analyses and optimization measures.
• Proficient in stakeholder management, able to effectively communicate data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Appreciation for fast, efficient processes in an agile environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English & German (minimum B2) to collaborate with various stakeholders.
