Vice President Debt Advisory (all genders)

Our client is a leading independent M&A and Debt Advisory firm with a focus on cross-border and mid-market transactions. The multinational team works from several offices across Germany and Europe.

Our client provides best-in-class deal capabilities for large corporates, leading mid-sized companies, private equity and family offices worldwide.

• Identify business opportunities, prepare pitches and source financing mandates from private equity firms, corporates, family offices and entrepreneurs.
• Be responsible for the execution of bespoke LBO- and Acquisition financing mandates with exposure to various industries.
• Advise our clients on complex and individual financing solutions and liaise with debt providers, lawyers, DD providers.
• Conduct and monitor credit analysis, business forecasts and scenario analysis, financial covenants sensitivities, financial modelling and manage Q&A sessions.
• Negotiate loan documentation (LMA), term sheets, and commitment letters and manage the financing process until closing.
• Manage project work streams as well as material preparations independently
• Supporting, managing, and training junior team members (analysts) throughout the transaction process.

• Bachelor´s or Master`s degree from a top university. Additional qualifications such as CFA, ACA or MBA are helpful but not a pre-requisite.
• 5-7 years of experience in corporate finance advisory or investment banking with an international investment bank, another boutique advisory firm or in audit, preferably with one of the Big 4 audit firms.
• Strong academic background and excellent knowledge in financial modelling and accounting (HGB, IFRS) as well as a network within the financial community.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills (verbal and written) with a self-starter mentality and the ability to get things done, and the confidence to drive various work streams on projects.
• Willingness to support the team with a desire to grow and to develop the business in a performance-driven environment.
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
