Project Controls Lead (m/f/d)

We are actively recruiting a team of professional, driven experts to join Linesight and help us deliver outstanding projects for our clients. Frankfurt has established itself as one of the biggest data centre hubs in Europe, offering excellent connectivity for hyperscale and colocation data centre providers, and is continuing to attract major global investment.
As a Project Controls Lead at Linesight, you will work with highly experienced, culturally diverse, and talented teams nurturing a strong social dynamic and a shared sense of achievement. The Opportunity:
In this role you will:
- Lead a multi-discipline Project Controls Team to ensure Project Critical information is promptly provided to key stakeholders and assist with key decision making to ensure the Project continues to meet business critical milestones.
- Be Responsible for project controls implementation and leadership, typically on a large project or collection of smaller projects, ensuring Client requirements are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support Project Governance and Compliance to ensure consistency of service.
- Have a strong analytical & strategic approach to Project delivery.
- Assess engineer and contractor bids, change notices and costs to ensure best value for clients.
- Assist in preparing client project funding documents.
- Be a visible leader onsite, assessing engineer and contractor progress.
- Create and manage cost forecasts for key client developments.
- Expertly negotiate pricing agreements with external partners.
- Manage and monitor project schedules, reporting on exceptions to the plan.
- Prepare owner estimates and lead estimate review meetings.
- Proactively lead risk management efforts, reviews and analysis.
- Be familiar with Change Management practices to ensure the Project information remains relevant and up to date.
- Support the final reconciliation of contracts and purchase orders.
- Update key partners with monthly executive and project status reports, Cost & Cashflow Reports, project schedule updates, and project risk reports.

- Are collaborative and supportive, with the ability to work autonomously and who can engage with and influence Project teams.
- Have a Construction or Engineering-related degree or industry-recognised technical or management qualification.
- Have experience in project controls and process improvements.
- Have relevant technical industry qualifications (from institutions such as RICS, PMI, APM, and AACE) plus Management & Leadership experience within Project Controls.
- Experience in the following sectors is an advantage:
- Life Sciences, Data Centres, Renewable & Alternative Energies, or Hi-Tech Manufacturing.
- Have awareness of Project Controls software packages and ability to discuss the benefits.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with and deliver to internal and external senior executives.
- Have experience in Risk Management and understanding of Quantitative Risk Analysis techniques and their application.
- Have successfully performed project controls roles including cost control, scheduling, change Management and estimating.
- Are fluent in English and German languages, both orally and written. French would be a plus.
