We are currently looking for a maternity/parental leave replacement for the Legal Property Management Team to join us in the position of Junior Lawyer, Property Management (m/f/d), from December 2024.

Working Place: Sonae Sierra's Central Offices in Germany

Requirements:

  • 2. State Examination in Law
  • Very good knowledge of the country’s legislation related to commercial real estate contracts and overall legal framework
  • Experience in Commercial Real Estate area (not mandatory)
  • Fluent in German (mandatory) and good knowledge in English (at least B2)
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365
  • Results oriented
  • Strong analytical and communicational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the drafting and updating of contracts for the lease of premises in Shopping Centres, as well as all contracts related to the operation and functioning of the Shopping Centres;
  • Aid other departments in overseeing that the tenants abide their obligations and in interpreting the contracts and legal solutions to adopt;
  • Request and coordinate the provision of services to external law firms and propose solutions to ensure the prompt and appropriate resolution of problems;
  • Ensure the adequate and timely report to the Administration, of situations that should be known, especially when they can import risks or increased responsibilities for the company;
  • Ensure the correct filing of the different contracts signed by Sierra and of its related documents (such as bank guarantees).
