Position Overview

As a Talent Acquisition & HR Specialist at 1GLOBAL, you will play a crucial role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top-tier technical and commercial talent from around the world. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and ensure a smooth and effective recruitment process.

Additionally, you will support HR functions in our Berlin office that now counts over 30 people by assisting with onboarding new hires, maintaining employee records, and contributing to HR policy development. Your primary goal will be to build a strong tech team that will help drive 1GLOBAL’s mission and growth.

Key responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition: Source, identify, and engage with potential candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, networking events, and direct outreach.
  • Recruitment Process Management: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including sourcing, job postings, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, coordinating with hiring managers and external recruitment partners.
  • Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by providing timely communication and feedback.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand role requirements and provide regular updates on recruitment progress.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and best practices in tech recruitment to ensure we remain competitive in attracting top talent.
  • Employer Branding: Promote 1 GLOBAL’s brand as an employer of choice through various online and offline channels.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions and recruitment activities using our applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Compliance and Policies: Ensure all recruitment practices and HR activities comply with regulations in Germany. Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • HR Operations: Assist the HR team with employee inquiries, providing guidance on company policies, procedures, and employee relations issues.

Requirements

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in technology and in a global setting.
  • Strong understanding of various technical and software engineering roles.
  • Proven experience in HR operations, including employee relations, benefits, compliance, Bamboo HRIS systems and policy development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to engage and persuade candidates.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a very fast-paced and dynamic environment with a global team.
  • Familiarity with ATS systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, or other recruitment tools and platforms.
