Analyst - Corporates Credit Production
In this context, you will analyse complex non-financial corporates, and write insightful credit research. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to lead operational review visits and take part in (and occasionally lead) meetings with investors, issuers and arrangers.
Duties & responsibilities- Perform analysis on a diversified portfolio of Corporate credits on a broad range of high yield and Investment Grade Corporates
- Monitor existing ratings and if necessary, recommend reviews and changes on a timely basis
- Present to and participate in rating committees
- Act as communication point-of-contact between Scope Ratings and customers and interact with senior executives (CFOs, CEOs, Treasurers, Investor Relations) supported by a senior team member
- Conduct discussions with clients and investors, as well as giving presentations, explanations and briefings at a highly professional level
- Produce high-quality, insightful and forward-looking research and analytical comments on a timely basis
- Support other Corporates team members
- Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in the financial industry (e.g. a large rating agency, an investment fund or investment bank), that reflects analytical and quantitative skills with a solid understanding of non-financial corporates
- Master's degree in finance, banking, economics, statistics, mathematics, or equivalent qualification, CFA charter is a plus
- Willingness to take responsibility with an entrepreneurial attitude. Accountable and reliable person of the highest integrity.
- Strong team player, confident and professional appearance and high social and communication skills
- Multi-cultural, collaborative, self-starter, versatile, inquisitive and detail-oriented personality
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Able and ready to travel
- Flexibility in accepting tasks and duties and carrying them out as directed
- Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) computer skills
- Proficient written and oral communication skills in English is a must. Any other European language would be a plus.
