Analyst - Alternative Investment Funds
We are looking for you - with a keen perception, enthusiasm for the fund market and the topic of private markets to join our team in Europe. To expand our team for alternative investments, we are looking for a highly motivated Analyst with strong analytical skills, quantitative experience and the knowledge of private markets. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of new products and support the maintenance of our current product portfolio.This role requires a blend of quantitative and qualitative analysis, exceptional communication skills, and a proactive approach to staying current with market and regulatory developments.
Duties & responsibilities- Take on digitalization tasks and projects to automate processes
- Develop as an analyst in the Alternative Investments Team with a primary focus on private markets
- Take responsibility for the monitoring process of existing ratings
- Prepare and participate in rating committees
- Support and contribute to research produced by senior analysts, by e.g. analyzing the market developments in the alternative investments sector
- Provide administrative assistance to the lead analysts and the head of Alternative Investments
- At least 1-3 years of experience in the financial industry or equivalent field
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, mathematics, statistics, economics, or equivalent qualification
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a solid understanding of alternative investments / private markets
- Experience in research writing with strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to understand and identify key analysis factors
- Critical judgement abilities that reflect your problem-solving skills
- Multi-cultural, collaborative, self-starter, inquisitive and detail-oriented personality
- Dynamic with the ability to work under supervision
- Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) computer and programming skills
- Fluency in at least a major European language (English and / or French preferred) in addition to German
