As a Global Project Manager PMO (m/f/d) at SGB-SMIT Group in the Operational Excellence department, you will be responsible for the continuous development of project management standards, methods and processes.

These are your tasks:

Strategic planning of initiatives with all locations within our plant network
Identifying opportunities for process improvement and business opportunities
Increase efficiency and effectiveness in the project
Leading and executing strategic and hands-on projects with cross-cultural teams across multiple sites
Ensure effective teamwork based on a shared understanding of objectives, opportunities and obstacles within a given framework

What you bring with you:

Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable qualification.
Strong leadership skills and strong knowledge of the decision-making process.
Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams preferred.
Experience in project management and the transformer business an advantage.
Strong communication skills.
Experience in conflict and escalation management
Confident use of planning tools and MS Office
Very good written and spoken English skills, knowledge of German beneficial
Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time
