Your prospective job:
For our client Airbus Defence and Space you are acting as a Simulation IT and Tools Administrator (f/m/d) at the location Manching.
Your responsibilities:
- Ensuring the smooth and reliable operation of IT Infrastructure (normal business hours)
- Continuously revise and improve the capabilities and reliability of IT infrastructure
- Delivering comissioning and decomissioning services for backbone as well as userrelated computing hardware
- Take an active role in implementing an Infrastructure-as-Code paradigm across all services
- Maintain internal IaaS Services and the underlying technologies (e.g. Proxmox, Container Platforms, Lifecycle Management)
- Maintain internal PaaS Services (e.g. Jenkins, Nexus, SVN, Moodle...)
- Coordinate closely with corporate IT services like ITSec, Networking
Your profile:
- A degree in computer science, a training as a IT specialist or a similar qualification
- At least 2 years of professional experience in the operation and design of Enterprise-level IT Infrastructure are mandatory
- High Level of expertise in at least one or more related fields (e.g. virtualization, storage, automation...)
- Experience with dynamic Povisioning and Immutable Systems
- Solid Multi-Distro Linux Skills and experience in one or more Scripting / programming languages (Python, Bash, C++, Go...)
- Fluent German skills both spoken and written
- English skills are advantageous
