Military Analyst Subject Matter Expert - Hohenfels
ECS is seeking a Military Analyst Subject Matter Expert to work in our Hohenfels, Germany office.
Pd L CTC/Ranges. The mission of the CTC Program is to provide effective and efficient Life-Cycle Management to the
Department of the Army's (DA) CTC Program at the three Maneuver Combat Training Centers (MCTCs) Joint Multinational Readiness Center (JMRC), Hohenfels, Germany. It also provides training support services for all approved training requirements within the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) guidelines and funding regulations directed by the DA and provides sustainment of After Action Review (AAR) Tools for the Army Leadership to effectively evaluate the training readiness of their units.
The Ranges portion of the Pd L is to provide effective and efficient Life Cycle management to the Department of the Army's Instrumented Ranges, Urban Operation training facilities and Tactical Engagement training devices. The Ranges and other training facilities under Ranges provide live TADSS training environments and training facilities that are realistic, and challenging so that the Warfighter is equipped for all tactical situations.Additionally, the programs provide sustainment of After Action Review tools for the Army leadership to effectively evaluate the training readiness of their units. Customer Support (Formerly Turn Key Operations) - The mission is to provide worldwide operations, maintenance, sustainment and instructional support of training systems used by the US Army, other DOD Components and Multinational Coalition Forces.
PEO STRI requires Military Analyst - SME support. This position assists in the organization's execution of the Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS) in accordance with Training & Doctrine Command TRADOC Regulation (TR) 71-20, "Concept Development, Capabilities Determination, and Capabilities Integration".This position assists in determining, documenting, and processing warfighting concepts, future operational capabilities, and Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel and Facilities (DOTMLPF) requirements.
This position assesses concepts to identify gaps in required capabilities and makes recommendations to develop and manage the integration of DOTMLPF solutions and the development of JCIDS capability documents.
Subject Matter Expert (SME): A SME is an individual whose qualifications and/or particular expertise are exceptional and/or highly unique. SMEs typically perform the following kinds of functions: initiates and/or develops requirements from a project's inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs; provides strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program and project staff; provides detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues; consults with client to define need or problem supervises studies and leads surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions.
Requirements:Active Secret ClearanceTen plus years of experience
Knowledge of military doctrine and tactics.
Knowledge of the Military logistics process.
Knowledge of the deployment and employment of military combat, combat support, and or combat service support systems.
Knowledge of acquisition products and other training support materials.
Knowledge of military command relationships and operating procedures at the Joint, unified and specified command level and operational force employment.
Knowledge of Training Aids, Devices, Simulation and Simulators (TADSS) and of operational testing.
