Role Overview

You’ll foster a collaborative team culture built on trust, accountability, and growth, utilizing Sakura Academy resources to drive ongoing team development.

For this position we are looking for someone in the central region, preferably you are based in Germany (our office is in Umkirch), but this is not a demand since this is a hybrid position.

• Coordinate, prioritize, and mentor a team of Application Specialists and Implementation Consultants.
• Collaborate with the Customer Operations team to improve application and implementation processes and optimize user training.
• Execute local Customer Support strategies in alignment with European goals, in close cooperation with the Regional Customer Support Manager.
• Stay updated on Sakura product developments, improvements, and relevant regulations, ensuring smooth integration into local practices.
• Oversee complaint management to provide effective and timely resolutions.
• Promote teamwork and collaboration across all stakeholders.
• Set and achieve personal and team objectives for the fiscal year.
• Maintain timely and thorough reporting standards.
• Actively participate in cross-functional projects.

• Education: Advanced degree in laboratory sciences with a technical specialization.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of management experience, preferably with international team leadership exposure.
• Skills:
• Strong commercial, communication, and negotiation abilities.
• Proven leadership and people management expertise.
• Practical, proactive approach with a “can-do” attitude.
• Languages: Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

• Cooperation: Collaborative approach to shared goals with a strong sense of team spirit.
• Customer Orientation: Proactively addresses customer needs, balancing quality and efficiency.
• Focus on Quality: Committed to high standards and continuous improvement.

• Problem Analysis: Skilled in identifying core issues and understanding root causes.
• Controlling Progress: Sets measurable goals, tracks progress, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Vision: Demonstrates strategic thinking with long-term planning and innovation.
• Knowledge in Histopathology and/or IHC are beneficial but not mandatory
• Laboratory background welcome
