Job Description

• Support the Product Design team in user-centric product development
• Assist UX Designers and Researchers in preparing, conducting, and analyzing user research (surveys, interviews, usability tests)
• Become proficient in behavioral and attitudinal research methods
• Work with our in-house, custom-developed research tool, the User Focus Program, to recruit participants, create surveys, and measure UX using methods like SUS, UEQ, and Jobs to Be Done
• Support the ongoing development and refinement of the User Focus Program, enhancing its UX measurement capabilities, metrics, and methodologies
• Collect and evaluate user requirements to derive UX recommendations
• Document and organize research insights using tools like Confluence and Figma
• Advocate for user needs and provide actionable insights to support design and product decisions
• Work closely with Designers, Developers, Product Owners and Product Managers and participate in project implementation within Scrum teams
• Support daily tasks by creating sketches, wireframes, and graphical mock-ups, and define user interface specifications and design patterns to ensure user-centered products

• Enrolled Student (all genders) at a university or college with focus on UX Design, UI Design, Information Design, Interaction Design, User Research, HCI, or related
• The internship has to be a compulsory part of your studies and take at least 5-6 months (mandatory internship!)
• Experience with UX research methods (e.g., usability testing, surveys, interviews, System Usablity Scale, User Experience Questionnaire) and design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma)
• Interest and basic experience in the areas of UX design, UX research, and prototyping
• Knowledge of Atomic Design principles and cross-platform UX concepts
• Basic knowledge of qualitative and quantitative data analysis (preferred, but essential for success in the role)
• Familiarity with Jobs To Be Done (JTBD) is a plus
• Fluent in English; German is a bonus
• Detail-oriented, structured, and eager to learn and contribute to team success
• Motivated to grow as a UX professional and share your knowledge with colleagues

• Contract location would be Göppingen, Germany

• Our Work Students in Germany receive a monthly salary of 1.390,00€ for a 20h/week and 1.112,00€ for a 16h/week, and our Interns 1.200,00€
