Drive Systems Engineer (m/f/d)
We are looking for a Drive Systems Engineer (m/f/d) in Worms to join our customer as soon as possible.
Job description:
- Product Development: From concept to production maturity in close collaboration with various departments.
- Project Management: Responsibility for planning, execution, controlling, and documentation of development projects.
- Technical Design: Development and coordination of technical functions, considering mechatronic, mechanical, electrical, and software-related requirements.
- Documentation and Communication: Preparation of specifications and requirements documents, technical coordination with suppliers, and documentation of test results.
- Technology and Innovation: Familiarisation with new technologies and processes, development of software concepts and modules for palletising machines and robots.
- Testing and Commissioning: Design, monitoring, and documentation of tests, as well as support during assembly and commissioning.
Skills requested:
- Education: Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on Software Engineering/Mechatronics.
- Experience: Strong knowledge in drive technology (TIA Motion and Simotion) as well as Safety Integrated, CIP Safety, and Rockwell Studio. Initial project management experience is an advantage.
- Desirable: Experience with automation and robotics tools (Siemens, KUKA), CAE and CAD design tools (Eplan), SAP P82, and visualisation tools (Copa-Data Zenon).
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, high reliability, excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as independence and systematic problem-solving abilities.
- Innovative Mindset: Interest in current trends such as connectivity, IoT, Industry 4.0, digital twins, Scrum, and cybersecurity.
- Languages: German (min. C1) and English (min. B2).
- Willingness to Travel: Willingness to travel occasionally.
