Job Title: Senior Production Planner
Location: Munich, Germany
12 Month Contract (Extension/Conversion Possible)
About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Production Planner to join an innovative and fast-growing company in the Munich region. This role involves overseeing and optimizing production planning during the prototyping and series ramp-up phases, with a focus on dynamic execution and efficient resource management.The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing processes in a high-tech environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production plans to support both prototyping and series ramp-up projects.
- Ensure the efficient coordination of materials, resources, and timelines to meet production goals.
- Use ERP systems to manage production planning; experience with INFOR ERP is highly desirable.
- Work closely with engineering, procurement, and quality teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution of production activities.
- Monitor production progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
- Provide regular updates and performance reports to senior management.
- Ensure all production processes comply with relevant safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in managing production during prototyping and series ramp-up phases.
- Strong knowledge of dynamic planning and execution processes.
- Proficiency in using ERP tools (experience with INFOR ERP is an advantage).
- Fluent English speaker; German is a plus but not essential.
- Must have work authorization for Germany.
