We take responsibility to work with all drug product related interfaces like GMP manufacture, CMC team and clinical team. We value collaboration and support each other.

Main responsibilities:

• Manage a team of 2-3 technicians or scientists developing preclinical, clinical and commercial parenteral biologics drug products including robust aseptic filling processes
• Conduct, develop and evaluate analytical characterization of pharmaceuticals (including pharmacopoeial methods)
• Conduct studies to define administration strategies of drug products
• Act as drug product team leader in charge of progressing a diverse portfolio of drug product development projects from entry into development to approval
• Ensure smooth technology transfers to clinical and commercial drug product manufacturing facilities through to initial product launches; provide appropriate troubleshooting support
• Prepare drug product sections of regulatory documents (e. g. INDs, IMPDs, BLAs) as well as scientific & technical reports and presentations
• Shape the development strategy by evaluating, adapting and implementing innovative tools and technologies
• Contribute to and lead scientific initiatives such as internal and external workshops and conferences

• Experience: Strong expertise in biologics drug product development, relevant analytics and GMP requirements
• Soft and technical skills: Strong leadership and communication skills to work in and lead cross-functional teams; Writing and presentation skills
• Education: PhD or equivalent in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline
• Languages: Fluent in English and German
• Professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry is welcome
