Field Service Engineer Germany
Are you looking for an exciting challenge and enjoy being on the move? Do you want to work in an innovative company that is committed to sustainability? Then SIG is the right place for you! We are looking for additional Field Service Engineers to join our Technical Service team in Germany as soon as possible to support our clients on-site.We are particularly seeking candidates in Lower Saxony, Bremen, Saxony-Anhalt, Thuringia, or Saxony.
Key responsibilities
Do you enjoy traveling and love variety? Then look forward to your new challenge! We will make you fit for the:
- Installation and repair of our filling and packaging machines for food products (e.g., milk, juices, sauces)
- Conduct routine maintenance and repair work
- Support our customers in troubleshooting and problem resolution
- Ensure product quality and food safety
- Create commissioning and service reports
- Collaborate closely with our customers and service team colleagues
- Completed vocational training in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or mechanics
- Alternatively, another technical qualification with relevant experience
- Strong foundational knowledge in electrical engineering, mechanics, or automation technology
- Willingness to travel regionally and nationwide during the week
- Strong customer orientation and communication skills
- Independent and quality-conscious work approach
- Interest in working with digital media and applications
- Good German language skills (spoken and written) and English proficiency
- Permanent employment contract
- 35-hour workweek as per the collective agreement
- Annual base salary between €50,000-60,000 gross, depending on qualifications and experience
- Overtime can be compensated with time off or paid out
- Holiday and Christmas bonuses included in the base salary, with travel expenses paid separately
- Company car with a fuel card, also for private use
- 30 days of paid annual leave
