The selected candidate will join Prof. Svilenov's group at the TUM School of Life Sciences in Weihenstephan.
About the Project
PicoBody is a 5-year ERC-funded project starting in January 2025. We will employ a multidisciplinary approach based on protein science, molecular biology, microbiology, machine learning, and lab automation. The project will establish key methods for the identification of natural picobodies with previously unknown functions, reveal basic insights about the fascinating bovine immune system and open new research directions into the discovery of very much needed new peptide drugs.
Your profile
You have a master's degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biotechnology, Molecular Biology or similar
Solid wet lab experience demonstrated by a successful MSc thesis
Desire to work independently and to shape a new research field
