You will play a crucial role in managing Service Desk and providing IT Service Management (ITSM) together with our external service provider and being a service business partner for our Global Finance function.

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance Service Excellence & Governance, you will work closely with stakeholders across the Global Finance function to integrate various vendors and services into one consistent Finance Facing Service.

What you will do
  • Service Owner for Service Desk and ITSM:
  • Act as the Service Owner for the Service Desk and for ITSM
  • Core Service Management:
  • Collaborate with the Service Provider’s Service Manager to manage the Service Desk interface between the Service Provider, AllianzGI's Finance function, and third-party service providers
  • Ensure the Service Provider meets the agreed upon service levels, measuring service performance and recommending actions necessary to respond to problems or improve service
  • Collaborate with the Service Provider’s Service Manager to manage the Service Desk as the single point of contact for AlllianzGI`s Finance function to request service from the Service Provider
  • Jointly with the Service Provider’s Service Manager, log, evaluate, prioritize, and forward requests to the appropriate operational domain; track and report progress on requests back to the customer
  • Jointly with the Service Provider’s Service Manager, manage issues related to service
  • Ensure timely feedback to Finance business stakeholders
  • Coordinate delivery of service to the user across all service domains
  • Ensure adequate capacity to meet demand
  • Ensure Reporting and Compliance:
  • Plan and document activities necessary to ensure business continuity in the event of a disaster
  • Evaluate draft Performance Reports, and supply input to the Service Performance section of the Service Provider’s Performance Reports
  • Handle requests for services that are beyond the standard contract provisions, launching work into the Service Provider upon approval
  • Assist in the development of contract changes, Operational Level Agreements, and Service Level Agreements
  • Manage the Service Management team (once in place); ensure the service provided by the Service Management team is of a high standard
  • Identify service improvements that could be made within service management to improve the quality of the service provided and/or the efficiency of the processes
  • Communicate and articulate business requirements and opportunities
  • Lead the service management escalation process
  • Produce trend information for internal and external use
  • Integration with Contract & Commercials Management
  • Understand Service Desk contractual deliverables and obligations and explain to others on an as-needed basis
  • Understand SIAM, Cross-functional and Security contractual deliverables and obligations and explain to others on an as-needed basis
What you bring
  • 5+ years of experience as a Service Integration Manager or similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of Service Desk Management and ITSM
  • Profound, hands-on experience with SIAM methodologies and tools
  • Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional groups (internally and externally) to set objectives and produce meaningful results
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt and respond to challenging / fast-paced situations and to deal with high complexity
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in English. Additional German language skills would be advantageous
