Job purpose/role
You will be part of the Compliance and Risk Team at AllianzAM, responsible for coordinating and contributing to risk processes and projects with focus on IT risk at AllianzAM and across our international organization of affiliated asset managers (PIMCO and AllianzGI).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Being responsible for providing reliable and practical risk related support including driving key risk initiatives forward specially for IT risk related topics in a fast-paced and change-driven international office;
- Supporting risk initiatives by actively participating and taking responsibility for tasks as needed with focus on IT risk (e.g., analyze data, prepare presentations and documentation) within AllianzAM Risk;
- Collaborating and working closely on IT risk initiatives with Allianz Group IT Risk experts as well as with the affiliated asset managers (PIMCO and AllianzGI) as needed;
- Contributing to AllianzAM IT risk framework and governance in line with Allianz Group and regulatory requirements;
- Researching and providing updates on key IT risk and related industry developments including proposing implementation of solutions within risk management processes as needed (e.g., leveraging use Generative AI / Chat GPT technology).
- Studying subject in Business Administration;
- Initial professional knowledge or experience in the fields of Asset Management; Risk Management and IT Risk would be an advantage;
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; German language skills are a plus;
- High service-orientation, reliability, and excellent interpersonal skills;
- Knowledge of financial industry and applicable regulatory environment are an advantage;
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise sound and balanced judgement;
- Ability to handle multiple task and work under pressure as part of a team;
- Willingness to innovate, learn and actively contribute to the success of the Risk department and broader firm;
- Willingness and ability to work with risk tools and high interest in IT risk current market developments within the Asset Management industry.
