For an international Distributor we we are looking for a
Technical Sales Manager m/f/d for
Pharma Ingredients/ EXCIPIENTS/ Chemische Rohstoffe /Nutraceuticals/API´s- with a solid technical background in chemistry or Pharma or Nutraceuticals and a significant experience in Sales (5/7 years) in Germany or German speaking countries
- Target is to expand and structure our Fine Chemical/Pharmaceutical Business Unit, we are currently looking for a Sales & Technical Manager,
- Hamburg office based/ 2 days homeoffice
- Conduct market research to identify and pursue business opportunities to expand the company's
- Develop and implement strategies to penetrate new segments within the relevant industry;
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers in the industry;
- Make contact with potential clients, understand their needs, and tailor solutions to meet those needs;
- Work closely with the Fine Chemical BU Director to ensure seamless collaboration and coordination on projects;
- Liaise with HQ to provide regular updates on the development of API business in Germany and Central Europe.
- Prepare detailed reports on market trends, competitor activities, and sales performance.
Requirements
Your background and skills:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in chemistry or pharmaceutical science or a related discipline, and a good understanding of APIs (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) development and production processes.
- Results-Driven, demonstrating a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, preferably in the chemical raw materials industry.
- Familiarity with the pharmaceutical market, particularly in the production of APIs
- Existing network within the chemical pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers, understand their needs, and explain the technical aspects of the products in a clear and compelling manner.
- A proactive mindset to take initiative in order to identify and pursue opportunities;
- Ability to collaborate effectively with the existing sales team and other departments within the company, such as technical support and customer service
- Fluency in German. Proficiency in English is often necessary for international business interactions and for internal communication
