Field Service Engineer - Wurzen

Übersicht:

Reporting to the Business Line Manager , the Field service engineer is responsible to provide on-site technical support and services for the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems.

Verantwortungsbereiche:

• Ensure a safe work environment by ensuring all Nikkiso Cryotec safe work procedures are followed.
• Understand industrial safe work processes and standards in the ASU, hydrocarbon, and petrochemical environment.
• Advise customer representatives and contractors on accurate equipment construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning, of various equipment.
• Understand and demonstrate knowledge in reading prints, flows sheets and product designs; provide liaison between the field and Cryotec engineering and project managers to resolve technical problems as necessary.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems by identifying, defining, analyzing, and then making sound, timely decisions working with customer and Cryotec project management and engineering.
• Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills; maintain free and open communication.
• Travel to customer sites working independently as a representative of the Nikkiso Cryotec group.
• Ensure trip reports are generated at the completion of all trips detailing scope of all work performed.
• Manage and ensure expense reports are complete and accurate monthly.
• Willing to travel Domestic and Foreign sites.

Qualifikationen:

• Technical or Associate's Degree.
• 10+ years of experience is highly desirable in the following fields:
• Air separation, natural gas liquefaction, or similar complex process control operations,
• Instrumentation and control,
• General maintenance of industrial equipment,
• Compressors and compressor maintenance,
• Turboexpander and compressor installation and maintenance,
• Industrial mechanical maintenance,
• Industrial electrical or electrician,
• Industrial Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC),
• Must be fluent in English and German is a plus.
• Ability to read P&ID, Electrical Drawings and design specifications, manufacturer drawings, engineering drawings related to bulk delivery sites associated with customer installations.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, material safety data sheets, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines. Ability to set goals and manage time to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner and achievement of goals are accomplished and manage and execute multiple tasks or priorities as necessary.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Word and Excel.
