Regional Marketing Communications Manager, Central and Southern Europe, ABB PAEN

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will lead the development and execution of external customer engagement programs to generate new leads aligned with business goals, support customer retention, and enhance the positioning of ABB Energy Industries in the DACH region (Germany – Austria – Switzerland).

The work model for the role is: hybrid. #LI-Hybrid

Main stakeholders are customers, prospects, and other external stakeholders (eg. external marketing communications agencies, etc), along with ABB management and sales.

You will be mainly accountable for managing and executing events, webinars, trade exhibitions, etc across DACH (virtual/hybrid/face2face).

Your responsibilities will include:
  • targets settings aligned with business strategy,
  • activities execution, working with internal stakeholders (eg sales) and external stakeholders (eg marketing communications agencies, congresses and fairs organizers, etc)
  • cohesive communication messaging development for each initiative,
  • marketing communications assets creation,
  • efficient budget management,
  • results tracking in Saleforce, conducting comprehensive post-event analyses to assess Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI).

You will become an integral part of a dynamic and talented team, offering an environment where your skills and potential can thrive.

Qualifications for the role
  • You have minimum 5 years of experience in marketing communications departments of large international groups with a special focus on customer engagement programs management (virtual/hybrid/f2f).
  • Highly adept in advanced knowledge of SfDC and marketing automation platforms.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in project management, including setting clear targets aligned with business strategy, developing consistent communication messaging, and managing budgets effectively.
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field like Digital Marketing and Communication.
  • You are at ease communicating in fluent written and spoken German and English.
  • You hold a current driving license valid for Germany and have the ability to travel across DACH (and Europe).
