Expert for Digital Engineering (m/f/d)
Your ResponsibilitiesAccountable for leading projects related to our Digital Engineering strategy
Contribute to the definition, evolution, and continuous improvement of Digital Engineering capabilities within the agreed roadmap
Act as a subject‑matter expert for selected Digital Engineering domains, methods, data models, and tools
Support cross functional collaboration with R&D, Supply Chain, IT, and other stakeholders by providing technical and methodological expertiseDrive implementation and operationalization of Digital Capabilities in projects, including methods, processes, data structures, and tooling
Support adoption by coaching engineers, contributing to training material, and supporting pilots and rollouts
Analyze current engineering workflows and identify improvement potentials regarding speed, quality, predictability, and digital maturityContribute to the definition and refinement of metrics and indicators to assess the effectiveness of Digital Engineering solutions
Your Qualifications
University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable technical disciplineSeveral years of professional experience applying digitalization or digital engineering approaches in complex, hardware‑centric engineering environments
Strong hands‑on experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) concepts and engineering authoring and lifecycle systems (e.g. Windchill, Teamcenter, Xpedition, NX)
Solid understanding of engineering processes, data flows, and toolchains across the product lifecycle
Structured, analytical working style with the ability to translate engineering needs into practical, scalable solutions
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and organizational boundaries
Advanced English and basic German language skills
