Deutsch Chinesisches Business Center & Unternehmensservice GmbH (DCBC) is a German-based professional consultant company specializing in assisting Chinese companies to conduct greenfield investment, M&A and financing activities in Germany. DCBC is headquartered in Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia and has offices in Beijing and Shanghai in China.
We are able to provide trilingual(German/English/Chinese) languages services to our clients. In recent years DCBC has helped many Chinese listed companies and financial investors to successfully execute their investments and cross-border M&A activities in Germany with the industrial focus on automotive component, machinery, environmental protection, new energy and others.
Tasks
• Independently lead and manage M&A projects
• Internal/external process management and communication with clients, targets and consultants
• Responsible for the preparation of transaction documents, review the financial models and figure out the valuations.
• Manage the key factors of the project such as due diligence and negotiations. Build up good relationship and communication channels with external counterparties (lawyers, accountants etc.)
• Keep MD informed about progress/bottlenecks and ensure timely involvement of MD
• Build and develop the networks which will lead to the potential clients, targets and transactions.
Requirements
• University degree or above in economics, finance or similar
• At least 5 years of transaction experience in M&A/investment banking, corporate M&A or private equity and have successfully completed M&A transactions
• Strong knowledge in strategic analysis and financial assessment as well as valuation/pricing
• Strong wetworks within M&A, e.g. investment banks, law firms, accounting firms, PE houses, etc.
• Proficient and excellent language skills in both German and English
• Initiative, leadership qualities, assertiveness, high work ethic and a very strong team orientation and communication skills
• Conscientious, dedicated, independent and results-oriented approach to work
• Excellent skills in Excel and PowerPoint
