Regulatory and Cross-Product Regulatory and Cross-Product Technology provides Investment Bank with a dedicated team that capitalizes on the rapidly evolving technology industry to deliver new platforms to meet business needs for cross-products and regulatory reporting.
As part of our team within the Berlin Tech Hub you will be responsible for helping to drive Deutsche Bank’s strategy for technological excellence. In tandem with business, product owners, architects, software engineers and engineers in testing you will be building development backlog, distributing, and prioritizing tasks across the team and driving them to completion to deliver industry leading technology solutions.
-> You love this job but feel you cannot tick 100% of the boxes? Send us your CV anyway! Your key responsibilities Contribute into building a shared platform architecture and code base across Fintech Enablement applications allowing quicker time to market of new solutions.
Use your full stack or backend Java experience for designing and developing new and existing applications within a cloud-based high availability architecture Assist in the adoption of modern engineering practices, design principles and Agile methodology across the Fintech Enablement team Engage with the business sponsors and stakeholders to implement requirements according to agreed timelines Partner with QA to ensure quality solutions are delivered to end users Provide Level 3 support Your skills and experiences Experience in Java and Java functional libraries (e.g. Vavr) and Database Technologies (SQL). Knowledge of Kotlin would be a plus Knowledge of various design and architectural patterns and understanding of industry standard processes for build, deploy, release and support.
Practical experience with build tools (e.g. Gradle, Maven), version control (e.g. Git, Stash), continuous integration systems (e.g. Teamcity, Jenkins) and Unix Experience in the finance industry and understanding of financial products and business processes would be beneficial Bachelor’s degree level or equivalent qualification/relevant work experience Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English; German language knowledge would be a plus What we offer We provide you with a comprehensive portfolio of benefits and offerings to support both, your private and professional needs.
