Tasks
 •  Taking over the interface function to suppliers for operational tasks
 •  Evaluate suppliers during the tendering phase and participate in selection decisions
 •  Managing and participating in supply chain and quality aspects of contracts with responsibility for on-time quality and possibly cost control
 •  Ensuring supplier quality and monitoring certifications in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
 •  Supporting the introduction of new products, work transfers and changes to ensure industrial qualification maturity prior to the series production phase
 •  Evaluate supplier capacity, capabilities and performance and contribute to supplier development
 •  Identifying industrial risks with suppliers and proposing risk mitigation measures
 •  Initiate and lead supplier performance improvement projects and report on operational performance and utilise tools to efficiently manage all supplier related activities

Qualification
 •  Completed studies in engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable technical degree programme
 •  First professional experience in the areas of manufacturing / production, supplier management, mechanics, project management and quality management
 •  Basic knowledge of process and risk management
 •  APICS training is an advantage
 •  In-depth user knowledge of SAP and Google Workspace
 •  Business fluent in German and English
 •  Willingness to travel on business, approx. once a month, max. 2-3 days
 •  Existing work permit for the EU
