Tasks & responsibilities
 •  As an IT Senior System Engineer, you will be an integral part of global development projects, collaborating with others to plan, define, design, implement, qualify, and transition solutions to operational support units.
 •  Your passion for IT systems, technologies, and system interfaces will enable you to act as a bridge between development and business teams, coordinating requirements with our development teams.
 •  Working alongside your teammates, you will play a significant role in developing concepts and projects for software solutions, contributing your ideas, and expanding your technical expertise.
 •  You will support integration and developer tests, as well as document software implementation, fostering a culture of growth and learning.
 •  You will take on the responsibility of 3rd level support in your area, involving external partners to ensure seamless collaboration.
 •  Lastly, you will be end-to-end responsible for maintaining and continuously improving processes in your area throughout their lifecycle, including deploying and implementing platform solutions such as SAP, all while nurturing a supportive environment.

Requirements
 •  You hold a master's degree in fields such as computer science, business informatics or comparable, coupled with several years of IT experience. You have a bachelor's degree complemented by extensive relevant work experience? We are open to both!
 •  We need someone with deep hands-on experience in supply chain planning system configuration, including the ability to integrate it seamlessly with leading ERP systems. If you are also well-versed in SAP ABAP or other programming languages, you might be the person we are looking for!
 •  Your analytical mindset and experience with complex IT system landscapes will be crucial in this role, especially when it comes to the technical integration of global processes and application systems.
 •  If you are familiar with life science supply chain management processes, that's a big plus! Experience in a regulated environment (GxP) would also be beneficial.
 •  Have you worked in projects using agile methods like SCRUM? That's an additional asset.
 •  We are looking for a motivated team player who is not just passionate about innovative IT solutions, but also has a global mindset. Your ability to work independently and collaboratively will be highly valued.
 •  Given the global nature of this position, strong communication and presentation skills in English is essential. German is a plus.
