Deine Aufgaben

Das bringst Du mit

Mit Hilfe von Führungs- und Kommunikationsfähigkeiten führt die Rolle die Geschäftsinteressenten effektiv durch den Beschaffungsprozess und gewährleistet die Ausrichtung auf Kategorie- und Lieferantenstrategien, die rechtzeitige Eskalation von Risiken und Problemen und die effiziente Übergabe an die Beschaffungsoperationsteams in der kommerziellen Versorgung. Hierfür sind folgende Kompetenzen vonnöten:
• Hochschulabschluss, vorzugsweise in Betriebswirtschaft oder Biowissenschaften/Chemie
• Mehr als 5 Jahre Erfahrung im Bereich Beschaffung oder Lieferkette mit messbarem Nutzen in den Bereichen strategische Beschaffung, Kostensenkung im Unternehmen und/oder Projekte zur Steigerung der betrieblichen Effizienz.
• Nachgewiesene Kenntnisse einiger/aller wichtiger direkter Ausgabenkategorien und potenzieller Kostenhebel oder Marktgrundlagen.
• Ausgeprägte Erfahrung in der strategischen Beschaffung und im Lieferantenmanagement bei der Entwicklung und Einführung neuer Produkte in der Medizintechnik-/Pharma-/Biochemie- und Reagenzienbranche oder einer anderen stark regulierten Branche.
• Mehr als 3 Jahre Erfahrung im Projektmanagement, einschließlich Risikomanagement, Projektberichterstattung und Erzielung quantitativer und qualitativer Ergebnisse in komplexen Umgebungen.
• Ausgeprägte Erfahrung in der Kommunikation nach oben und im Umgang mit hochrangigen Interessengruppen, unterstützt durch gute zwischenmenschliche Kompetenzen (Kommunikation, Einflussnahme).
• Ausgeprägte Fähigkeiten in den Bereichen Verhandlung, Konfliktlösung und Stakeholder-Management.

The role is responsible for ensuring the successful execution and completion of procurement deliverables on product development projects while leveraging category and supplier strategies to maximize value to the product portfolio. The Project Sourcing Manager (m/w/d) is responsible for selecting and developing suppliers in alignment with global category and supplier strategies in the pre-launch phase of product development.
The Project Sourcing Manager (m/w/d) has deep knowledge of project management, product development process, and Roche’s category and supplier management approach, and applies this expertise to effectively deliver to project needs.
Your Tasks
• You ensure the delivery of assigned relevant strategic projects and targets in line with the respective product portfolio strategy, product development roadmap and annual pipeline of initiatives within Direct Procurement
• You will be responsible for the delivery of procurement activities for assigned projects and agreed targets and objectives to ensure product development milestones are achieved
• Ensure smooth project delivery and efficient handover to the Procurement Operations teams
• Your project management skills will enable you to create and execute good project plans in collaboration with Business Project Leaders / Project Managers to fulfill project requirements
• You monitor project progress, keep track of the schedule and derive risks and risk mitigation strategies accordingly
What you bring with
The role uses strong procurement analytical skills to collect and evaluate supplier, market, category, and internal business data and information required to monitor and evaluate project execution. Using leadership and communications skills the role effectively guides Business stakeholders through the procurement process, ensuring alignment to category and supplier strategies, escalation of risks and issues in a timely manner and efficient handover to procurement operations teams in commercial supply. The following competences are required for this:
• University degree, with Business or Life Sciences/Chemical degree preferable
• 5+ years procurement or supply chain experience delivering measurable value in strategic sourcing, enterprise cost reduction, and / or operational efficiency projects.
• Demonstrated understanding of some / all of the major direct spend categories and potential cost levers or market fundamentals.
• Strong background in strategic sourcing and supplier management in new product development and introduction in the medical device/pharmaceutical/Biochemicals and Reagents industry, or other highly regulated industry.
• 3+ years of project management experience including risk management, project reporting, and delivering quantitative and qualitative results in complex environments.
• Strong experience in upwards communication and senior stakeholder management skills supported by good interpersonal competencies (communication, influencing).
• Strong capability in negotiation, conflict resolution and stakeholder management.
• Expert proficiency in MS Project and other business systems.
• Knowledgeable in procurement specific systems and processes for the efficient management of sourcing events and contract negotiations (e.g. eSourcing, eAuction)
• Business fluent in German and English
