As an Industrial Engineering Specialist, you will drive improvements in production of Continuous Gas Analyzers in Measurement & Analytics in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

Reporting to the Head of Industrial Engineering your focus will be on optimizing the manufacturing processes through innovation in a cost-effective way.

Your responsibilities
 •  Ensuring optimal efficiency in production methods, technologies, equipment performance and materials/components
 •  Defining the sequence of the production process in line with material and investment budgets
 •  Maintenance and execution of production BOMs (bill-of-materials) and work schedules in SAP
 •  Identifying and implementing improvements to the manufacturing process in line with cost, safety and timing requirements
 •  Active participation in new product introduction (NPI) projects
 •  Consulting and close cooperation with production operators and supervisors to implement changes on the production line

Your background
 •  Minimum 1-3 years of experience in industrial engineering (field: electromechanical parts or gas analyzers)
 •  Experience on a production line would be an advantage
 •  Knowledge of SAP ERP, MS Office and lean methods are mandatory
 •  A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines
 •  A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
 •  A Lean Six Sigma certification would be nice to have
 •  Fluent in German (spoken and written)
 •  English (basic knowledge)
