We are looking for a Team Lead Design Wovens (Outerwear / Trousers / Tailoring / Leather / Coats) (m/f/d) to strengthen our HUGO Menswear team as soon as possible.
What you can expect:
• Leading and managing a team of designers and interns
• Implementation of the design content for HUGO Menswear Wovens including, but not limited to, outerwear, coats, tailoring, denim and trousers
• Thematic and qualitative realization of the seasonal collection trends/themes taking into account colour charts, materials, prints and key silhouettes
• Alignment of product ranges across all categories
• Benchmark analysis of competitors and strategic implementation into collections; Intensive and continuing research of trends and innovation and consumer behaviour
• Ensuring there is cooperation and alignment with all interfaces (e.g. external suppliers, Sales, Brand Management, Operations and Marketing)
Your profile:
• BA in Fashion Design
• 5+ years' experience with menswear design with a focus on outerwear; leadership experience is a plus
• Experience in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop CS, MS Excel, PLM, 3D design experience a plus
• Experience working with overseas factories, agents and fabric and trim vendors
• Ability to work cross functionally, building strong relationships between various departments
• Strong eye for trends and current industry news/developments
• Flexible to adapt to changing trends of business and corporate strategy
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and oral
