Tasks
 •  Preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS, HGB and tax law guidelines, including detailed balance sheet and income statement commentary
 •  Professional contact person for German and international auditors and tax authorities
 •  Preparation and support for tax audits to ensure compliance
 •  Management and commercial support for international branches, including tax law processing
 •  Central contact person for internal commercial and controlling enquiries
 •  Independent responsibility for specific accounting issues in accordance with IFRS, HGB and international tax law
 •  Preparation of transfer pricing documentation and solutions for transfer pricing issues
 •  Responsible for advance VAT returns and complex tax law clarifications in cooperation with international tax centres
 •  Continuous improvement of the internal control system and optimisation of financial processes to increase efficiency

Qualification
 •  Successfully completed studies in the field of economics with a focus on finance and controlling
 •  Alternatively, a completed commercial apprenticeship supplemented by further training in finance
 •  Experience in managing and supporting international subsidiaries or operating sites
 •  Sound business knowledge and a strong understanding of financial processes
 •  Comprehensive expertise in SAP-FI/CO and excellent MS Office skills
 •  Fluency in written and spoken English
 •  Valid work permit for the European Union
