In this role, you will be fully responsible for managing the Integrated Packaging Operations team. You will also be involved in providing technical and commercial advice to customers and have a significant influence on the preparation of offers.
In addition, you will continue to be involved in day-to-day operations and work on tender and contract award negotiations as well as project management and order processing.

Your responsibilities
• Disciplinary and technical leadership of the associated project management and support in the further development of employees through training and instruction
• Communicating the sales and project management strategy and implementing it in the team
• Development of solution proposals taking into account customer requirements/needs as well as economic and technical aspects
• Presenting the developed products and services to customers and explaining product-specific features and benefits
• Selecting and checking suppliers in collaboration with supply management
• Calculation of offer prices, taking into account commercial framework conditions such as insurance, cash flow, risks, etc.
• Conducting bid negotiations together with regional sales/account managers
• Organization and management of kick-off meetings for technical and commercial order clarification
• Preparation of health & safety plans and coordination of the project team and external subcontractors
• Adhering to schedules, monitoring construction sites and initiating corrective measures as required
• Accompanying customer acceptance tests and monitoring installation until handover to the customer
Your background
• University or technical college degree in electrical engineering, preferably with a focus on energy technology
• Several years of experience in project management or in the commissioning of solutions in an industrial environment
• Initial disciplinary management experience is an advantage
• Business fluent in written and spoken German and English
• Ideally certifications in the field of project management
• Highly solution-oriented and pragmatic way of working, strong assertiveness and conflict resolution skills as well as negotiation skills
• A willingness to travel on average 20% of the time
