The gross annual salary is approximately €60,000. Please note that we can only consider candidates who have a valid work permit for the EU (not a student visa).

• Identification and implementation of cost reduction strategies in the supply chain
• Negotiating optimal prices for new materials and conducting regular price rounds
• Planning and managing transfers of cost-sensitive product packages to suppliers in Germany and abroad
• Creation and management of tenders as well as well-founded offer analyses for supplier selection and contract awarding
• Professional contract negotiations with build-to-print suppliers including comprehensive contract management
• Evaluation and qualification of suppliers as well as active participation and support in qualification programmes

• Successfully completed studies in the field of industrial engineering, business administration, economics or a comparable qualification
• Alternatively, completed commercial training, ideally supplemented by further training as a technician or business administrator
• Several years of professional experience in purchasing, including at least 2 years in project management, as well as sound knowledge of strategic purchasing
• Detailed user knowledge of MS Office and in-depth knowledge of SAP
• Business fluent in German and English
• Existing work permit for the EU
