You will work closely with various departments, suppliers, and stakeholders to develop and implement procurement strategies that align with our business goals.

• Develop and implement procurement strategies: Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and business requirements to create effective and sustainable procurement strategies
• Supplier management: Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships. Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions to secure advantageous deals in cooperation with the responsible Sourcing Manager
• Cost optimization and analyzation: Continuously seek opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining or improving quality, supplier performance, and sustainability
• Risk management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them in cooperation with internal stakeholders
• Performance monitoring: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement activities
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., production, finance, R&D) to ensure that procurement activities align with overall business objectives
• Continuous improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices , best practices, and regulatory requirements in an effort to continuously improve procurement processes

• Completed commercial training, ideally supplemented by a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus
• Several years of experience in procurement, ideally with experience in a strategic buying role
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently, and as part of a structured and collaborative procurement team
• Knowledge of basic contract law
• Proficient in Global supply chain management
• Very good knowledge of SAP R/3 and MS Office
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
• Strong analytical thinking, good understanding of figures and an independent, structured, goal-oriented way of working
• Team spirit, flexibility and assertiveness
