About the role

Our partner company is looking for reinforcement and offers you the chance to kick-start your career as Project Manager for Offshore projects (m/f/d) in Hamburg. You will be employed with us and support the team on-site. This position is initially limited to 01.06.2026.

In coordination with our partner company, the entire application process will be managed by Academic Work.

Work tasks
  • Support project teams and managers in document management and adherence to workflow processes
  • Ensure traceability, accuracy, and easy retrieval of all project documentation throughout the project lifecycle
  • Monitor and distribute incoming documents and drawings as per project guidelines, and ensure proper documentation closure at project end
  • Assist the Document Control Manager in developing and implementing improvements for technical and administrative documentation processes
  • Provide training and support project members regarding document management routines and applications, including data migration to EDMS
We are looking for
  • You bring document control expertise: 3–5 years of experience in document management, with a strong understanding of EDMS systems and procedures, particularly in large multidisciplinary engineering projects
  • You bring technical proficiency: Strong computing skills, especially with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and MS SharePoint
  • You bring personal attributes: Detail-oriented, systematic, proactive, responsible, and innovative, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • You are fluent in English, at least C1 level.
