Tasks- Develop our ARTIST STUDIO software, incl. CAD (OpenCascade kernel), CAM (robot offline programming & simulation), and interfaces to our machines and structural simulation (FEA) software
- Develop and improve complex algorithms (geometries/meshes, 3D data structures, transformations)
- Contribute to concept discussions that drive our future software development
- Support multi-functional R&D and customer projects
- Test software; maintain documentation and tests
- Work closely with other developers in the software team and engineers from other teams
- University degree in informatics, computer science, mechanical engineering, or related field
- 3 years of professional programming experience in modern C++, preferably with MS Visual Studio
- Experience with git, CI, code reviews, working in agile teams
- Experience with one of the following areas would be a plus: 3D transformations and algorithms; Qt; CAD kernel (e.g., OpenCascade); automation in industry production line
- Good English language skills, German is a plus
