Our Proposal Project Manager (f/m/d) in the new built Power Plant business keep teams on track and oversee the development, preparation and negotiation of high quality, competitive and innovative offers in close cooperation with Sales.
In this role, you will be responsible for completed project objectives including the optimized technical concept, cost calculation, risks & opportunities, time schedule, quality and for the allocated proposal budget. You will also technically direct, lead and motivate your project team to deliver successfully.
How You'll Make an Impact- Lead a multi-functional bid team including team members across different countries and organizational units
- Define bid strategies in collaboration with Sales and other disciplines for gas turbine based power plants
- Negotiate with customers and managing customer expectations
- Organizational and leadership tasks, including developing a high functioning bid team
- Review and release of the technical bid documentation as well as review and release of cost calculations, risk management and related mitigation measures
- Conduct the technical negotiations with partners and contractors
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement process within the team and ensuring motivation and a high-performance culture
- Actively support the overall improvement process to increase the quality and efficiency in Proposal Management
- Successfully completed university degree in Engineering (Plant Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar)
- Several years of experience in leading (interdisciplinary) teams and in customer and contractor negotiations
- Technical knowledge, ideally in Power and Energy Business, Engineering, Procurement, Construction and/or Service
- Personal interest in continuous improvement of technical and leadership skills, strong Sales mindset as well as capabilities to motivate and to delegate
- Ability to work under pressure with high quality as well as occasional intercontinental traveling and intercultural openness
- Open mindset, proactive and ambitious
- Fluent English, German desirable

Our Gas Services division offers low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
