You will be an integrated part of the deal team, involved in (almost) all decisions and meetings with potential investment targets. You will play a significant role in all of our investment activities, including the identification, sourcing, initial analysis, due diligence, and closing of investments.

Who you are:

• Bachelor's degree or higher - ideally, in a quantitative subject
• Three or more internships in either private equity / venture capital, investment banking, consulting, or a startup
• Strong quantitative skills and experience with Excel, modeling, and processing data
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Sales-driven mentality with the potential to convince executives to work with us
• Ability to be in the office at least 3 days/week (usually Tue, Wed, and Fri)
• Fluency in English

Bonus:

• 1-2 years of full-time work experience
• Understanding of the software industry and its performance metrics
• Fluency in German

…the first quarter, you’ll have:

• Familiarized yourself with our existing analysis templates, portfolio and processes.
• Understood our investment approach and pitch.
• Sat in on meetings with prospective investments.
• Analyzed the financials and KPIs of prospective investments; prepared and reviewed our deal screens.
• Built robust financial models to support our investment theses.
• Drafted portions of investment memos.

…the first year, you’ll have:

• Actively participated in, and/or led, meetings with investment prospects.
• Independently devised analyses and due diligence approaches.
• Sourced new investment opportunities (attending conferences, research, etc.).
• Helped us advance our platform, processes, and operations.
