What you'll do
We provide commercial banking products, principally lending, deposits and structured finance products, to customers based in or active across Western Europe. You’ll focus on supporting the oversight and challenge of operational risk management within the bank.
You’ll be contributing to the establishment and maintenance of the operational risk framework in accordance with regulatory requirements, as well as the oversight of outsourcing activities and information security risk.
You’ll also be:
- Working in partnership with the Operational Outsourcing Officer on outsourcing activities
- Supporting the embedding and implementation of operational risk management mandatory procedures
- Providing input into the preparation and adoption of risk reports, risk appetite statements and risk appetite measures for operational risk within the bank
- Participating in the investigation of information security incidents, as well as the review of risk assessments for outsourcing engagements
- Performing oversight controls within the second line of defence
The skills you'll need
To succeed in this role, you’ll need good analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with good knowledge of German and European regulatory requirements for risk management.
In addition, you’ll need:
- To speak, write and read fluently in both German and English
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in a financial institution, particularly in risk management
