Sales Financial Analyst (f/m/d) - Grid Software Business Unit - Siemens

We are seeking a Finance professional who will be a key player in a fast-growing Software Business Unit Sales organization and who is genuinely excited about driving and effectively scaling the business. Roles & Responsibilities- You act as a Financial Analysts and Partner to multiple stakeholders in Sales, Finance, PPM, IT Incentive team, and Execution
- Understand in detail order and revenue value flows in Reporting, ERP systems and Accounting Revenue Recognition methods to support reporting and process improvements (BA Dash, PCK, ERP RevReq etc.)
- Provide insights on Software Metrics (SWLR, ARR, Net New) for GridSW Sales portfolio, Global Account Data, and Go-To-Market-Insights
- Drive the implementation and tracking of Software specific KPIs (SWLR/ ACV/ ARR/ Net Retention Rate) which are crucial for Software business and Sales incentives
- Sales Finance Data quality, governance and analytics partner
- Responsible for the timely and competent analysis of actuals, forecasting and budgeting as well as providing Key Performance Indicators to support business decisions
- Trusted advisor to the Head of Sales Finance, Performance Controlling and all stakeholders within the Sales team
- Your role will encompass various tasks related to controlling the Grid Control (GC) order intake, analyzing proposal data, and actively supporting the structuring of the order processing for GC Software licenses. You will collaborate with the internationally positioned team of GC Sales and Bid Management, cross-functional units of GridSW, as well as the international GridSW community
Role Requirements
We seek someone who has:
- Several years of experience in a progressive financial role
- You hold a Bachelors degree in Finance or equivalent
- Prior experience in software business and/or project business is an advantage
- Power BI skills and/or Snowflake skills are an advantage
- Excellent financial modeling and analysis skills
- Experienced in using reporting and visualization tools
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
- Forward-thinking, analytical, and problem-solving mindset; positive "can do" attitude
- Manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of precision
- Revenue contract structure and accounting experience (GAAP and IFRS)
- Executive presentation skills which enable highlighting key drivers in consumable formats, both excel and PPT
- ERP SAP, Siemens Data Cloud, BA Dash, Smart Reporting knowledge is an advantage
- Experienced in working in a global organizational setup
- Excellent English language skills is a must
- 2 to 3 days of mobile working per week as a global standard
