Hardware Engineer for Combined Charging Systems (m/f/d)

Your tasks:
- Collaboration: collaborate with other teams such as development, system engineering, operations and others to support cross-functional projects and RFQ initiatives. This might involve participating in meetings, providing technical expertise and coordinating tasks
- Documentation: maintain existing and creating documentation of system configurations, design book, updates procedures, and troubleshooting manuals
- Component selection: research, comparison and selection of electronic components based on various criteria such as performance, cost, power consumption, size, availability, etc.
- Customer Requirements analysis: understand customer requirements and change requests to assess impacts (functionality, performance, environmental, compatibility, reliability, cost, etc.) on existing and under development architecture design.
- Design and development: electrical architecture design preparation, design book preparation, worst case analysis, CAD schematics design
- Building and testing prototypes: participate in hardware bring-up and validation activities to make sure adherence to safety, performance, and reliability standards
- Troubleshooting: examine and resolve problems with hardware prototypes
Your profile:
- M.Sc. degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineerining and Minimum 4 years of working experience as hardware designer
- Proficient in High voltage AC and DC charging technologies, Previous experience in design, development, and implementation of Combiner Charging System applications for EV/HEV/PHEV (i.e. On Board Charger, DC-DC converter, etc.)
- Experience with vehicle network CAN, LIN, Ethernet, hardware laboratory equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, audio analyzers, etc.), EMC laboratory, Analog/digital design, schematic design, Functional Safety, Good knowledge of V-model
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Willingness to travel
- High Voltage operation certified is preferred
- Fluent written and spoken English skills are a must, German write/read is preferred
- Experience in exciting and international projects
