Your Role:
You will be joining the Data Science for Life Science team, as part of the Life Science Analytics Center of Excellence. We develop data science solutions to drive machine learning and optimization projects across all business units, e.g., R&D, supply chain, sales and others.
The Data Scientist is expected to play an active role in ideating, developing, and managing our data & analytics tools. This includes tasks such as stakeholder management, presentation of results, implementation of work packages for the project team and implementation of algorithms.You are expected to work both independently and collaboratively in small project teams to achieve the best possible outcomes for our stakeholders. Moreover, you help our internal customers to understand and implement the results. Working together with our machine learning engineers & data scientists, business stakeholders, product owners and data stewards on a day-to-day basis, you will be able to develop and grow.

Who you are:
- Master's Degree in Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering or related quantitative field with excellent grasp of Mathematics, Statistics and its practical application
- Fundamental knowledge in biology and chemistry is essential
- Strong skills in Machine Learning, Statistics and Predictive Modelling
- Programming skills, e.g. Python, Spark, SQL are essential
- Project management experience is considered a plus
- Familiarity with git-based version control workflows is a plus
