Chemical Regulatory Compliance (CRC) Specialist (m/f/d) - Regensburg
In this role, you will manage your own projects and tasks, creating technical documentation and providing consultancy to cross functional teams to ensure compliance with chemical regulatory requirements.

What does the role involve?As a CRC Specialist , you will be responsible for ensuring that Hilti’s products meet global chemical regulatory requirements by developing solutions and documentation for our projects and products.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Development and Product-Care teams in defining project scopes based on legal chemical compliance frameworks, considering competition landscape and application needs.
- Defining test plans and concepts for our Fire Protection products in line with existing chemical compliance relevant guidelines.
- Planning and steering internal and/or external product testing, ensuring correct procedures, timelines, and cost management.
- Assessing technical data and presenting results in project team meetings and steering committees.
- Documenting internal and external regulatory compliance assessments and delivering compliance documents including chemical compliance related label content, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Poison Center Notification (PCN), creation of Declarations of Performance and technical content reports.
- Representing Hilti BU FP towards external experts, authorities and Hilti MO/HUB, Hilti suppliers and manufacturing plants for chemical compliance matters in the defined area of responsibility.
- Supporting legal compliance monitoring (focus: chemical and sustainability regulations), ensuring aligned risk management across all stakeholders in the defined area of responsibility.
What you need is:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemistry, chemical/environmental engineering, materials science or a related field.
- 2-5 years of professional experience in qualification, chemical regulatory assessments or development of construction and/or chemical products OR a M.Sc. in a relevant area with first professional experience in chemical regulatory compliance and/or HSE.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a goal-oriented mindset.
- Affinity for reading, interpreting and applying chemical regulations .
- A team player mindset with excellent communication skills in an interdisciplinary and international environment.
- Fluent English, any other language is a Plus
