leader of large teams. Your internship will conclude by presenting an

internship program, your performance will be evaluated. Your performance

join the full-time Pathways program in 2026.
About the Pathways Program
Pathways is a three year program designed to rapidly develop experienced MBAand Master level graduates with the skills needed to be Amazons next Senior
Operations Managers and beyond. This is the opportunity to chart your own
course. Pathway’s members are highly visible to senior leadership through an
exclusive mentoring network. They have flexibility with changing roles, sites
and geographies. Through a series of intense, progressively challenging
opportunities in our best in class operations network, we will stretch your
leadership capacity to its full potential. The business lessons you learn and

Your development in the Pathways Program (if you join us full time after theinternship)
Step 1: Extended onboarding as an Area Manager (front line leader) until you
successfully managed your first peak holiday season. Learn about AmazonOperations from A to Z and lead a team of 50-100 people.
Step 2: Once onboarded, you progress into your role as Operations Manager and will
gain experience in leading other managers and approx. 400 team members. Driveimprovements in operational processes by working cross-functionally with
Amazon technology and engineering teams.
Step 3: Promote to a Senior Operations Manager where you will lead through others to
execute regional or network wide initiatives. With your promotion you willgraduate from the Pathways Program but continue to have access to important
mentoring resources.

Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead continuous improvement projects which could impact safety,
- Develop standard operating procedures
- Direct accountability for setting and meeting operational goals
- Scope and design standardized concepts
- Shadow leaders across operations to learn what it takes to be a manager at
- With support from management, lead large teams across different shifts
- Learn how leaders conduct weekly business reviews for their sites and
- Collaborate with senior management and support teams, which may include
Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance and Human Resources, to develop plans to meet business objectives

### BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
You need to meet 100% of these requirements to apply for a position at Amazon.- Currently enrolled in an MBAMScPhDMEng and available for 10-12 weeks
- Between 3 and 10 years of complex professional experience (excluding
delivery
- Very good command of German and English (CEFR B2) at the time of

- Delivered complex projects, where you have been required to engage teams

### PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- You have professional experience in engineering, management, logistics,

- Direct management experience for employees and their performance
- Previous experience in setting, monitoring and improving KPIs or similar
- Successful track record in supporting internal or external customers
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma or Kaizen techniques and methodologies
