Electrical Construction Manager

We are currently constructing multiple turnkey data centre projects in 7 different European countries, equating to over 430 MW of IT load in flight.
Below is a list of typical duties but is not exclusive of all duties that are required to be carried out during the project.
Responsibilities- Developing a detailed construction plan, including scheduling and resource allocation
- Coordinating the acquisition of equipment, ensuring they meet the project's specifications and quality standards.
- Managing the contractors by overseeing their work, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing subcontractors when necessary.
- Implementing quality control measures to ensure that the installation of equipment items meets the required standards and specifications.
- Monitoring project costs and ensuring that the project stays within budget, including tracking equipment items.
- Overseeing project timelines and making sure that installation work is completed on time to avoid delays.
- Identifying and addressing potential risks and issues that could affect the construction project.
- Facilitating effective communication between the client, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure everyone is on the same page regarding project progress.
- Maintaining thorough records of project activities, materials, and any changes or modifications to the project plan.
- Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering
- 8+ years experience in a similar role, within an M&E contractor is essential
- Previous management of large site teams essential
- Data Centre experience is advantageous
- Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills
- Proficiency in the use of MS programs is required
