YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES WITH US:

  • You will coordinate customer-related activities related to avionics architecture and the qualification process of different system variants in close collaboration with a diverse team characterized by a culture of mutual respect and support.
  • You independently revise and prepare the relevant avionics system requirements and qualification documents, ensuring clarity and precision.
  • You develop avionics system concepts and system design changes to improve the functionality and performance.
  • You are responsible for problem report analysis and ensuring traceability, contributing to overall system reliability and safety.
  • You identify and document key stakeholder needs, overall system capabilities, roles and responsibilities in the project, ensuring all input drives successful outcomes in a collaborative environment.

YOU CONVINCE US WITH:

  • Degree in electrical or aerospace engineering, or a comparable field with at least 5 years of work experience in Avionics (military or commercial) Systems Engineering, especially in requirement management, system integration & verification.
  • Knowledge of aeronautical standards like ARP-4754A, DO-178C, DO297 and preferably familiarity with other standards such as ARP4761, DO160, MIL-STD-810, DO254 paired with proficiency with requirement engineering tools such as IBM DOORS, Serena PVCS, Windchill PDM
  • Willingness and ability to carry out a background check in accordance with LuftSiG §7 and to obtain a security clearance Ü2.
  • High level of initiative, flexibility, and commitment, with the ability to independently travel to different customer premises while maintaining a work-life-friendly balance.
  • Very good knowledge of English is essential, German skills are an advantage, enabling you to communicate effectively in an international and diverse team.
