What is the role about?
We are looking for a Corporate Sustainability Specialist to join our Corporate Sustainability Office. In this role, you'll be at the heart of our sustainability efforts supporting the preparation of sustainability reports, leading defined sub-projects, and enabling our organization to navigate the evolving landscape of sustainability requirements This position plays a pivotal role in shaping our global strategy, and together we will create solutions that have a positive impact on us and our planet.

As a Corporate Sustainability Specialist, you’ll work closely with key stakeholders across the company to ensure we meet and exceed our sustainability goals.

Your role will be a corporate function within our global group, based in Germany, with opportunities to impact our sustainability practices worldwide.

Which tasks will you perform?

You will:

  • Support the preparation of sustainability reports and ratings (e.g., EU CSRD, CDP, Ecovadis), ensuring timely and consistent data collection.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, enabling and supporting the organization on sustainability laws, regulations, and related topics.
  • Lead or support assigned sustainability sub-projects and tasks, driving progress, and ensuring alignment with our global strategy.
  • Assist in sustainability performance reviews, identifying areas for improvement and helping to implement solutions.
Provide administrative support, including preparing presentations, managing inquiries, and supporting project communication.
  • What do we expect from you?

You:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Have 1-3 years of experience in project management related environment, ideally but not mandatory in sustainability, corporate responsibility, or a related area.
  • Embrace a pioneering mindset, thriving in uncertainty, adapting to changing directions, and comfortably navigating ambiguity to drive innovative solutions.
  • Are proficient in data analysis and comfortable working with sustainability reporting frameworks.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
Are fluent in both German and English.
