Subject Matter Expert - Human Factors and Ergonomics (f/m/d)

• You lead ergonomic and Human Factors research to enhance safer vehicle operations, especially in the cockpit and maintenance areas.
• You collaborate with Engineering to integrate Human Factors into advanced technologies like AI, NLP, AR/VR/MR, IoT, ensuring user-centric and scalable solutions.
• You function as a Center of Excellence, supporting Engineering in designing cockpits, cabins, and vehicles, with a focus on Human Factors in proofreading and design reviews.
• You drive awareness and influence of Human Factors' importance and value across different business lines.
• You establish standards throughout product lifecycles and develop unified methods across divisions.

• You hold an MSc or PhD degree in Human Factors and/or Ergonomics and have several years of relevant experience.
• You have excellent reporting, coordination, and drumbeat skills, along with rigor, autonomy, and proactivity.
• You have hands-on experience in ergonomic analysis, peripheral physiological measures, biomechanics, and human sciences.
• You are knowledgeable about dynamics assembly and machining in the aeronautic industry, manufacturing engineering processes, and airplane operations.
• You are fluent in English (German is a nice-to-have) and have experience with tools like Python, Matlab, Microsoft Office & Gsuite, and SPSS.
