We are now looking for a Working Student who is available to contribute approximately 20 hours per week.
Tasks- Investigate recently published research papers on AI audio innovation & summarize findings with our team that are strategically aligned with our company objectives.
- Research and develop solutions for audio foundation models, audio reasoning, generative audio, explainable audio AI, few-shot learning for rare sound events,
- Collaborate with others to integrate audio AI modules into the prototype systems.
- Collaborate with Product Owner to integrate 3rd party APIs into prototypes.
- Currently enrolled as a Masters student in Audio-related Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.
- We require a minimum of 6 months for the working contract (e.g you need to have at least 6 months remaining in your student status)
- Good programming experience in Python, proficiency in PyTorch (Lightning), HuggingFace (Transformers, Diffusion), hydra.
- Broad knowledge of machine- and deep-learning algorithms and principles and state-of-the-art methods
- Knowledge of digital signal processing principles and methods (multi-channel audio processing, DFT, filter-banks).
- Publication record in top machine learning and audio analytics venues (e.g., ICASSP, Interspeech, AAAI, ICML).
- Hands-on experience in deep learning model optimization like quantization, neural architecture search, pruning.
- Enthusiasm about applying Machine Learning and AI to Audio-DSP and music related tasks.
- Experience with a python web framework like FastAPI or Django is a plus.
- Self-motivated, collaborative mentality, and experience working in a multicultural environment.
- You are optimistic, ambitious and prefer the feeling of a startup over a big company.
