Tasks

Your mission - More than just numbers:

• Billing with foresight: You will take responsibility for the correct and timely invoicing of transport and logistics services. You will always maintain an overview and ensure that everything runs smoothly.
• Controlling as the key to success: You take care of analysing and preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements. With your eye for detail, you will manage KPIs and carry out target/actual comparisons.
• Leadership skills: You will lead a small, dynamic team and ensure that great things are achieved together. You promote open communication and a positive working atmosphere - so that everyone in the team can give their best.
• Passionate about process optimisation: you drive digitalisation forward and develop innovative solutions. In this way, you not only ensure efficiency, but also maximum transparency.
• Take responsibility: As the interface between the departments, IT and management, you ensure that everything runs smoothly. You ensure that compliance and quality are practised in all areas.

Qualification

What makes you special - your expertise:

• Numbers professional: You have a degree in business administration, finance, logistics management or a comparable qualification and have several years of experience in controlling - ideally in the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
• Team leader with heart: You are a motivator and lead your team with empathy and clarity.
• Process optimiser: You have an eye for efficient processes and are very familiar with digitalisation and process improvements.
• Communication talent: You impress with your strong communication skills and assertive manner, both within the team and with customers and management.
• Affinity for numbers: You are familiar with common ERP systems (such as SAP) and enjoy working with MS Excel and Power BI.
• Legally fit: You have a sound knowledge of tax and legal regulations in the freight forwarding industry.
